"Musical Connectivity"

History

Phanphest Entertainment has it's roots in Wanamassa, NJ, where the first outdoor festivals were held. Currently located in Wanamassa, and producing a weekly "Asbury Rising" concert series on Thursday nights at The Saint, in nearby Asbury Park, NJ, Phanphest Entertainment is producing it's 5th outdoor music festival this August in Morrisville, PA.

In October of 2003, and May of 2004, Phan Phest 1.0 and Phan Phest 1.5 were held on just an acre of property in Wanamassa. After maxing out the property at Phan Phest 1.5, a new home needed to be found to continue the "backyard tradition." October 2004 saw a new location in Manchester, NJ, for Phan Phest 2.0. We constructed our own stage in a grassroots manner and over 200 people attended the three day music festival on the 3 acre property.

We returned to Manchester, NJ, in May of 2005, and had access to the adjacent property and we built a second stage. 550 people maxed out the now 4 acres we had to use for the weekend, with alternating stages, and a total of 33 acts.

Needing to find a new location for the ever growing festival, Phanphest Entertainment set it's sights on producing indoor events. We decided that if Phan Phest, as a festival, was going to continue to grow, we needed to find a bigger festival grounds, and that we would wait until we found the right location.

After several years of producing occasional annual events, it was time to bring Phan Phest 3.0 to reality. We decided to try to fill the void of a major festival leaving Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY, 20 minutes outside of Albany, NY.

We produced Phan Phest 3.0 in August of 2007, bringing in more national and regional acts to the 220 acre property, including several festival favorites and even an American Idol contestant! Realizing that the new location was just a bit too far from our primary fanbase, we decided to move to yet another new location.

This August 22 – 24, 2008, we are proud to be producing our 5th outdoor camping music festival at beautiful Snipes Farm in Morrisville, PA, "Phan Phest 4.0." We cordially invite you to attend this three day outdoor camping festival with us as we continue on our journey of "musical connectivity."
